FIR registered against nine bogus arms dealers

On the orders of the Punjab home secretary, an FIR was registered against nine bogus arms dealers on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The case was registered under the Punjab’s Arms Ordinance, 1965.  

As per the inquiry report that was compiled before the registration of the case, the suspects prepared fake documents and sold arms on fake licenses.

The home secretary that since the sale of arms and weapons on fake documents was a heinous offence; therefore strict action should be taken against those involved. “There is a zero tolerance against such individuals,” he said.
