Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shoaib Shaheen has been released on Saturday from Adiala jail, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to details, Shoaib Shaheen was released after his bail was approved by the anti-terrorism court against surety bonds worth Rs 100,000. Earlier, Shaheen was arrested in the case registered in Sangjani.
Meanwhile, Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Saturday barred the police from arresting Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Sher Afzal Marwat.
The IHC had summoned the details of the registered cases against the lawmaker. The interior secretary, Islamabad IG, Punjab IG, and FIA had been sent notices in this regard. Justice Saman Rafat Imtiaz said: “According to the lawyer, Sher Afzal Marwat has a fear of arrest in any of the secret cases. He should not be arrested without the permission of the court in any of the cases.”
