The Local Council Association (LCA) Abbottabad has written a letter to the Deputy Commissioner of Rawalpindi, requesting permission to hold a protest outside Adiala Jail against the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government over the non-issuance of funds.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, in the letter, the Abbottabad Local Council Association stated that they have not received funds for the past three years and intend to demonstrate outside Adiala Jail to record their protest.

The letter further mentioned that the purpose of the protest is to register their discontent with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government.

The association has requested that they be allowed to hold the protest today, according to the text of the letter.
