Imran, Erdogan talks about Afghan situation over phone

Prime Minister Imran Khan and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had telephonic talk on Sunday, 24NewsHD TV channel reported.
The two leaders exchanged their views on the rapid changes in Afghanistan in wake of Taliban control.
The prime minister told the Turkish president that National Security Council would meet on Monday to deliberate on the evolving situation in Afghanistan.
The two leaders would consult again after the meeting with a view to coordinating their efforts. The prime minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s resolve to continue backing efforts for a peaceful solution to problems in Afghanistan
According to the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), the premier conveyed that Pakistan was extending facilitation in the evacuation of diplomatic personnel and staff of international organisations and others in Kabul as requested.
