US Deputy Chief of Mission assures Pakistan to cooperate in health sector

Deputy Chief of Mission of the US Embassy in Pakistan, Andrew Shaffer called on Federal Health Secretary Iftekhar Shilwani and assured him cooperation in the health sector.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, in the meeting, the Federal Secretary of Health and Deputy Chief of Mission of the US Embassy discussed matters of mutual interest by agreeing on bilateral cooperation in the health sector.
Federal Secretary of Health has said that America always supported Pakistan in every problematic moment, especially during the Coronavirus pandemic and floods are significant, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
He said that the first round of the negotiations about the health sector was successful and he is waiting for the second round of negotiations.
The Deputy Chief of Mission assured him the second round of the negotiations will start soon.
Director General Health Dr Baseer Khan Achakzai was also present in the meeting.
