Gomal University bans meetings between boys and girls 

The Gomal University administration has imposed a ban on meetings between a boy and a girl outside the departmental domain, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Thursday.

The university administration has issued a circular saying that ‘one-on-one’ sittings of boys and girls on the grounds outside of departments and cafe are banned.

Students cannot be monitored on the university grounds, they are directed to stay within the department limits, the varsity management stated, adding students should be cautious and confined to classrooms.

It continues:  “Boys and girls can’t hang out in grounds outside the department. violators will face the music.

“Restrictions have been placed to maintain order and create an environment conducive for safe and secure of the students, especially girls.”
