PTI delegation to meet Maulana Fazlur Rehman tonght for talks

A delegation of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party will meet with Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman tonight at his residence in Islamabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Thursday.
The meeting is aimed at resolving the political differences between the two parties and seeking JUI's support for the protest against the alleged rigging in the elections.
The PTI delegation will be led by Barrister Gohar Ali. He will be accompanied by former National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser, Barrister Saif and Akhund Zada Hussain Ahmed.
The meeting was arranged after the PTI leadership contacted JUI and requested time to meet Maulana Fazlur Rehman today. The JUI chief agreed to the meeting and welcomed the PTI's initiative for dialogue.
The PTI and JUI had remained at loggerheads over various issues and both parties leaders remained used to calling names each other. However, after yesterday’s press conference of Maulana Fazl against alleged rigging in which he did not rule out cooperation between two parties on one-point agenda, the PTI decided to seek his support.
