Rapist of Gujranwala student arrested from Yemen

Gujranwala police have arrested the man, who had been declared a proclaimed offender (PO) in a rape case, from Yemen, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

According to the CIA official, Shajar Hussain, who had raped a college-going female student in the limits of Ladhiwala Warraich police station five years ago, had fled to Yemen to escape arrest.

On the orders of City Police Officer Captain (r) Syed Hammad Abid, the CIA contacted Interpol for his arrest, and at last succeeded in getting to him in Yemen, the official added.
