Three cops arrested for facilitating prisoner’s escape in Sukkur

Three police personnel, posted on jail ward duty in Civil Hospital Sukkur have been arrested for facilitating escape of a prisoner, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
According to police a case has been registered against an ASI and three constables, posted on the duty of the jail ward in the C-section police station in the complaint of the government.
While conducting the raid, the police arrested three officials while one policeman escaped.
The text of FIR says officials on duty helped the dangerous prisoner Khairu Tighani to escape.
The police officials gave access to the prison ward to the companions of the prisoner.
The officials on duty deliberately did not report the incident of escape of the accused to the police headquarters or the concerned police station in time.
The police officials kept the accused's accomplice Ghulam Murtaza alias Saddam Sabzoi in the jail ward with the accused for 20 days.
The hospital administration had instructed to transfer the prisoner to jail after completion of treatment five days ago.
The police officials deliberately delayed the transfer of the accused to jail.
ASI Hidayatullah Chachar, constables Altaf Sangi, Dost Ali Nareju and Shahzadu Chachar have been named in the case filed by the government.
Ghulam Murtaza alias Saddam Sabzoi, a colleague of Khairu Tighani who is in the jail ward has also been named in the case.
