No-confidence motion: Fazl 'is satisfied with' PDM, MQM-P meeting

A delegation of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) met the leaders Muttahida Quami Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) at the Parliament Lodges.

JUI chief  Fazlur Rehman and PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif met the leaders of MQM-P, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Aminul Haq, Khawaja Izharul Hassan and Amir Khan. The opposition alliance leaders made a request to the government 

The government coalition partner for backing the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan in the low house of the parliament. After the meeting, Maulana Fazlur Rehman expressed satisfaction. “We are satisfied with the meeting, “ he said in reply to a question after the meeting.

Shehbaz Sharif said negotiations are underway to get the desired goals. On the question of delay in decision-making by the allies, Shehbaz insisted on taking such query to the allies. 

Talking to the media, Khawaja Saad Rafique said that MQM has spoken of civil rights and the opposition is ready to guarantee constitutional and fundamental rights. He hinted at the formation of a national government.

MQM leader Aminul Haq said the talks are also going on among the allies too and the party has presented three points to all the parties. He stressed the need for upholding democratic tradition and peace. "The process of negotiations will continue," he said.
