CM Gandapur knocks IHC door for meeting with Imran Khan in jail

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur filed a petition for a meeting with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan in Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Saturday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, CM Gandapur said in his petition that a visit to PTI founder Imran Khan in jail is a fundamental right of the petitioner.
CM Gandapur appealed the court to release orders to be allowed to meet Imran Khan for consultation on political and legal issues.
He also requested the court to release order to ensure confidentiality in consultative meeting with PTI founder.
The Ministry of Interior, Islamabad Administration and Adiala Jail Superintendent have been made parties in the petition.
