Businesspersons stand by armed forces

The businesspersons have adopted a resolution expressing solidarity with the armed forces renewing the resolve to stand by national institutions, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.
The business community from across the country gathered here on Tuesday and condemned the May 9 violent attacks on public property and the sensitive installation.
Calling for cohesion, the community urged the stakeholders to resolve issues through mutual understanding.
Dr Gohar Ejaz, Patron-in-Chief of All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA) while giving detail of the resolution said it was decided that a delegation of businessmen will go to all stakeholders including Army Chief, Prime Minister, Asif Zardari, Imran Khan because Pakistan's loss is everyone's loss.
The resolution said that the community is always proud of Pakistan Army for successfully braving the spate of terror and defending the motherland from external and internal aggression and threat effectively.
Gohar Ejaz said that participants vowed that nothing is higher than the integrity and honor of Pakistan.
Institutions and forces offered their lives for the cause of Pakistan, Gohar Ejaz added.
He said that they strongly condemn the incident of May 9 violence. He said the government; the armed forces and the people are on one page with utmost discipline and unwavering faith to defend the country.
“We express unwavering solidarity with our brave armed forces to frustrate the evil designs of anti-state and disgruntled unscrupulous elements.”
He said everyone needs to show patience and resolve the issues through talks.
Former President FPCCI, Mian Idrees said that they are ashamed of being laughed at in neighboring countries.
He said that they need to resolve the issue with patience.
Mian Aamir while condemning the May 9 incident said that they stand with the army and institutions so that Pakistan can move forward.
Mian said, "Our armed forces are our greatest asset as they offer their precious lives for fighting on battlefields.
He said that better law and order is a prerequisite for strengthening of national economy and promotion of democratic system besides the inflow of foreign investors in every sphere of life.
