Unidentified gunmen have abducted a superintendent of the KP education department at gunpoint by putting him in a car along with his partner in Lakki Marwat on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to police, the incident took place in the city’s busiest area of Lorry Adda.
Arifullah is a district education officer and is a superintendent of BPS-17.
Police said that the lifters seemed to be Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) cybercrime operatives.
In this regard, president All Coordination Council Saeed Akhtar said that abducting a superintendent from the main base in broad daylight is a failure of the security agencies.
He said that government employees are angry over the incident and will announce strict action plan soon after consultation.
