A student of the Engineering University in Mardan has developed a software which can trace the spot anywhere in the city from where bullets are fired, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

In an apparent major breakthrough to combat the rising crime, the software will be able to alert police within second about the exact place from where the shots were fired.

According to student Muhammad Ali, the place from where the aerial firing is committed can be found out in less than five seconds.

Ali further said this is such a project in which criminals can be reached by using the Google map.
