Court adjourns hearing of Elahi’s bail application till Nov20 in recruitment case

An Anti-Corruption Court has adjourned the hearing of former chief minister Punjab Pervaiz Elahi’s bail application till November 20 in the illegal recruitment of principal secretary case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
The prosecution has not produced the case record even today on which the court expressed anger. The court ordered the prosecutor to produce a record of the case at the next hearing.
The prosecutor told the court that the investigating officer of the case had gone to Quetta with the record of this case.
Earlier, the record was in Lahore High Court, now the court has moved to Quetta and it is a malicious act of the prosecution who are not producing the records in the court, the court remarked.
It seems that Nawaz Sharif has taken this record with him while going to Quetta, says lawyer Parvez Elahi.
Aamir Saeed Ran advocate appeared on behalf of Parvez Elahi and took the plea in the court the case was made against Parvez Elahi on political grounds.
The case was registered against Parvez Elahi for the illegal recruitment of Muhammad Khan Bhatti as Principal Secretary in the Punjab Assembly.
