Successful counterterrorism opt in Tank District: 7 terrorists eliminated

In a successful counterterrorism operation in Tank District, Pak troops killed seven terrorists after an intense exchange of fire, 24News HD TV Channel reported on Wednesday.
According to the details, in a decisive intelligence-based operation on the night of November 14/15, Pakistani security forces targeted a reported terrorist presence in the general area of Kiri Machan Khel, Tank District. A fierce exchange of gunfire ensued between Pakistani troops and the terrorists, resulting in the neutralization of seven extremists.
The operation also led to the discovery and destruction of terrorist hideouts. Substantial amounts of weapons and ammunition were seized from the deceased militants, who were actively involved in various terrorist activities, including recent targeted attacks on the police in Tank and its surrounding areas.
Currently, a sanitization operation is underway to ensure the complete elimination of any remaining terrorists in the area. The local community has expressed appreciation for the operation and has pledged full support to the security forces in their ongoing efforts to eradicate the menace of terrorism.
