Another polio case detected in Quetta

Another case of polio has come to light in Pakistan which is the third case reported from Quetta this year, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

According to a report from the National Emergency Operations Center (EOC) country’s 33rd polio case was reported from Quetta.

So far, 17 polio cases have been reported from Balochistan, 10 from Sindh, and 4 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa while one case of polio has been reported from Punjab and Islamabad, National EOC said.

In view of the current situation of virus and cases, a nationwide polio campaign is being started from October 28, the National EOC said.
