Final round of talks underway for amendment bill, next 3-4 hours are important: Rana Sana

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs and PML-N leader Rana Sana Ullah has claimed that Government will be able to approve the constitutional amendments easily while PTI will face political isolation, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Rana Sanaullah claimed the required numbers is available but the margin is so close that every vote count matters a lot. He said 224 lawmakers are are required for the amendments and currently the government has 225 minus plus.

He said the final round of negotiations has started and the next 3-4 hours are very important.

Rana San said that it is the power of the Parliament to amend the constitution. If the constitutional amendment is in accordance with the law, it cannot be challenged in any court.

He said that the constitutional amendment will involve consultation of all stake holders and PTI will be left alone. Rana Sana said that PTI should come forward as a political party. He said PTI is trouble due to its bad behaviour.
