Nankana Sahib By-election: Imran’s nomination papers accepted

The nomination paper of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and a candidate from NA-118 Nankana Sahib has been accepted to take part in the by-elections on Wednesday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the rival candidate has made some objections to the candidature of Imran Khan which was rejected by the Returning Officer (RO) Faisalabad.
Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) candidate Dr Shezra Mansab from the constituency raised some objections to the nomination papers of Imran Khan before the RO. She objected to selling gifts from Tosha Khana and not disclosing Al-Qadir Trust in the documents.
RO Nankana Sahib Tanvir Al Hasan overruled the objections of the Nawaz League’s candidate and approved the documents of Imran Khan for the candidature from NA-118.
Former Federal Interior Minister Ejaz Ahmed Shah predicted that Imran Khan will win in NA-118 with a margin of at least 50 thousand votes.
