Hindu devotee shot dead by dacoits at Nankana

A Hindu devotee, who had come to Nankana Sahib to attend the Baba Guru Nanak birthday celebrations, was killed after he resisted a robbery bid on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Sources in the police told 24News TV channel that the incident took place on Manawala Road.
Soon after learning about the incident, Punjab Minister for Minority Affairs Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora rushed to the DHQ Hospital and offered his condolences to the family of the deceased named Rajesh Kumar, a resident of Larkana.
He assured them that those responsible for the death of their loved one would be brought to justice.
As per the FIR of the incident, registered at Warburton police station on the complaint of Rajesh’s relative Akshat Kumar, five unidentified persons sitting on two motorcycles robbed him and Rajesh of Rs450,000 in cash.
And later when Rajesh offered resistance, the dacoits shot him dead.
