Bushra Bibi joins probe into receipts of Toshakhana’s watch

After the court orders, former first lady Bushra Bibi Wednesday joined investigations into the forged receipts of Toshakhana’s watch, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The contents of her statement given to police the other day also came to light.

The informed sources said that the investigation team of police had prepared a questionnaire containing 25 questions.

“However, only 23 questions were put to Bushra Bibi. Most of the questions were related to the Toshakhana gifts,” they added.

While rejecting the allegation of forged receipts, Bushra Bibi said that she had no knowledge about where the receipts came from and who forged them.

She claimed in her statement that all the media reports about Toshakhana’s watch were baseless.

Bushra Bibi was also questioned about two audio leaks to which she replied that the voice in the audio leaks was not hers.

After the refusal of Bushra Bibi, the police team played the audio leaks in front of her, and she termed both of them fake.

The police team decided to have a forensics test of the audio leaks. The informed sources said that the forensic report of the audio leaks would be made a part of the case record.
