Punjab CM Naqvi inspects remodelling of Motorway toll plaza

Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited Babu Sabu Toll Plaza late at night and inspected the widening and remodeling project of toll plaza, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi reviewed the progress on the ongoing construction activities on both sides of the toll plaza.

The CM directed to speed up work on toll plaza widening and remodeling project and all resources should be utilized for early completion of the project.

Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi further directed to increase the number of labor force at night.

He said the opening and remodeling of Babu Sabu Toll Plaza will solve the long-standing problem of traffic jams on a permanent basis.

Due to the traffic jam on Babu Sabu, the citizens are facing immense difficulties in transportation and all efforts are being made to complete this project as soon as possible , said Mohsen Naqvi.

Commissioner and DG LDA briefed the CM about the progress on the project.

Provincial Ministers Amir Mir, Azfar Ali Nasir, Bilal Afzal, Chairman Planning and Development Board, Secretary Housing, CCPO, Commissioner Lahore, Chief Engineer LDA and concerned officials were also present on the occasion.
