New twist in results of Karachi LG Polls, PTI loses a seat

A new twist is witnessed in the results of the Karachi Local Government (LG) Elections as a seat of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has been reduced on Tuesday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, some changes have come to the surface in the results of the second phase of the LG Polls in Karachi.
As per the new results, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) managed to win two more seats and the number of seats of the party has increased to 88 for the second position.
The Pakistan People's Party (PPP) still remains at the top with 93 Union Councils after losing a seat because a candidate of it has been elected UC Chairman unopposed too.
The PTI has also lost one seat and now it is staying at the third position with 39 seats.

It is worth mentioning here that polling was not held at 10 Union Councils in Karachi due to the death of candidates.
