Boy dies in fridge compressor blast in Karachi

A young boy died on the spot while another man received serious injuries when compressor of a refrigerator exploded in their house located in Lines Area of Jacob Lines in Karachi on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Sources said that the compressor blast occurred due to electricity short-circuit at about 4 am.
The 13-year-old deceased boy, identified as Muhammad, was at his grandmother’s house to attend a wedding ceremony.
Soon after the blast, a huge fire erupted which engulfed the entire house in which one person was seriously injured.
A police team rushed to the house after receiving the report of the fire incident. They shifted the dead and injured person to Civil Hospital for treatment.
SHO further said that a woman who was inside the house at the time of blast was also received injuries.
