Security forces kill 5 terrorists in Tirah

Security forces killed at least five terrorists in an intelligence-based operation in the general area Tirah in Khyber District on Friday.

During the operation, troops effectively engaged the militants and killed five of them, including Kharji ring leader Abidullah@ Turab. One militant was also arrested.

Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the khwarij, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area against the security forces. They also killed innocent civilians.

Sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate any remaining Kharji in the area.
