An anti-terrorism court in Karachi has framed a charge sheet against 18 more workers of proscribed outfit Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) in riots and vandalism case on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The accused workers of TLP denied charges against them and the court has now summoned the witnesses in the next hearing.
The police have registered the FIR in the Baldia Town Police Station.
The ATC Karachi has sought all property documents and other relevant papers in the next hearing.
Police said that the accused workers damaged the government buildings.
In April this year, the federal government formally banned the Tehreek-i-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP), whose supporters staged three days of ‘violent’ protests across the country after the arrest of their leader.
The Ministry of Interior shortly after the federal cabinet approved a summary to ban the party, issued a notification declaring TLP as a proscribed organisation.
