Sudden hike in virus cases in Punjab ring alarm bells

The sudden rise in the number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has sent ripples of fear across the whole country.
The most populous province of Pakistan had only two reported case until Tuesday when the situation changed altogether with confirmation of 24 new cases.
In the morning, provincial health minister Dr Yasmin Rashid confirmed six cases but later in the day the government revealed that the tally had risen to 26.
Punjab Government is updating about the confirmed cases of coronavirus through official twitter handle of Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar.
The CM tweet that made the shocking revelation as said that the health authorities were testing all the suspected patients.
It said that the 736 Zaireen, who had returned from Iran, are quarantined in DG Khan, while another 1,276 Zaireen expected to arrive from the neighbouring country through Taftan border will also be quarantined.
On the basis of test reports, of suspected patients, I can confirm that the number of confirmed #coronavirus patients is now 26.

We are testing all the suspected patients and 736 Zaireen quarantined in DG Khan. 1,276 Zaireen coming from Taftan will also be quarantined.
