Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) heavyweight leader from Karachi and former federal minister Ali Zaidi condemned the May 9 attacks after his party chairman Imran Khan's arrest in Islamabad.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, one of the close aides of PTI Chairman Imran Khan talked to the media outside the hospital in Karachi on Wednesday.
Replying to different queries from the media, Ali Zaidi categorically stated that he will quit the party when his Kaptan Imran Khan will leave it.
Condemning attacks on martyrs' memorials and the burning of the Jinnah House in Lahore, he said Pakistan's assets were attacked and the most painful thing was the burning of the martyrs' memorial.

PTI leader said he will never support violence and those involved in violent incidents on May 9 should be punished as we sleep soundly at night because Pak Army is vigilant at the borders.
He added that the personal guard cannot protect us from India. "The army is from us and we are from it", Ali Zaidi declared.

He also confirmed his affiliation with the army giving a reference that his maternal uncle (younger brother of my mother) was an Air Vice Marshal who fought against India in the 1971 war and hit many fighter planes of the enemy. A tile of his war-hero maternal uncle is also fixed in the airforce museum.
