Teacher arrested in Haripur for torturing student over incomplete schoolwork

A 13-year-old student was brutally tortured by a teacher for not doing school work in Kanthala area of Khanpur Tehsil, Haripur.
The victim, named Zeeshan, son of Mohammad Ramzan, is a student of 7th standard.
According to father of victim student, a teacher named Muhammad Munir made the child fall upside down with the help of two other children and violently tortured him with a stick.
The victim child was brought to Tehsil Hospital Khanpur in critical condition.
The incident took place in Kanthala Government Middle School in Upper Khanpur area.
However, police station Khanpur police took the teacher into custody after registering an FIR.
