Students in Lahore along with their parents Sunday staged a protest in Liberty Chowk against the distribution of marks in intermediate Part-II examinations, reported 24NewsHD TV.
The protestors demanded to stop playing with the children’s future by making results under the corona policy.
“The government will come to its senses only if all the students will commit suicide”, the protestors added.
The parents raised the question that, “Students who usually obtained 80 to 90 percent of marks, how could they scored 38 percent.”
The students said that “Our future is at stake and we are not getting admission in universities anymore.”
Some students said that “We had taken admission in the university on the basis of matriculation and entry test and had passed the test with 80 percent marks. Now after this result we are being expelled from the university, they added.”
Protesters demanded to get their results re-checked. They further said that, “Either the students should not be expelled from the universities or they should be given time in one semester so that they would prove themselves.”
