171 Tableeghi members leave Shujabad quarantine centre

Tableeghi Jamaat members have left Shujabad on Saturday after spending 14-day quarantine period. Despite all of its members had tested negative for the coronavirus, they had been quarantined at Jamia Farooqia, Shujabad, as a precaution, 24NewsHD TV channel reported.
Assistant Commissioner Mubeen Ahsan facilitated the departure of 171-member group to their respective places. The members of Tableeghi Jamaat belonged to various parts of the country including Lahore, Karachi, Gilgit, Mansehra, Boner, DI Khan, Swat and Bannu.
About the quarantine facilities, Tableeghi Jamaat’s Maulana Zubair Ahmed Siddiqui said that the administration tried its best to provide the facilities within the available resources.

In addition, the other members of Tableeghi Jamaat thanked wholeheartedly for the hospitality extended by the deputy commissioner and his team.
AC Shujaabad also acknowledged the cooperation of the Jamaat members, and said “It was necessary to observe the standard operating procedure (SOP) in order to control the virus.”
49 recovered in Hyderabad quarantine
After recovering from the coronavirus 49 people have been sent to their homes from Hyderabad quarantine centre.
Hyderabad District Health Officer Imdad Ali Channa said that 14 foreigners were among the recovered people but the district administration would consult on foreigners’ future travelling plans.
“All test results came negative while these people completed their quarantine period in Pirabad, Sarfraz Colony and Pathan Colony mosques,” he added.
