Britain announces £2.67m health support for Pakistan

The United Kingdom (UK) on Saturday announced £2.67 million health support for Pakistan to battle the deadly coronavirus.
British High Commissioner to Pakistan Christian Turner in a recorded video message in Urdu language posted on Twitter said that, “today the UK is announcing the health support of £2.67 million to help Pakistan to detect the virus, protect the communities and assist those most affected.“
He said in Urdu language muskil waqt mein dost he humara sath detay hain (we can count on our friends in difficult times).
Christian Turner also announced an important development that, “We are also repurposing Department for International Development DFID’s work in Pakistan to help protect the most vulnerable.”
