Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan acknowledging the Establishment as more powerful in Pakistan said ‘Neutrals’ should revisit their policies and hold fair elections if they want stability in the country.
Imran Khan was addressing the seminar titled ‘Freedom of Expression and Protection of Media’ organized by the PTI in Islamabad on Thursday.
The PTI chairman said no economic stability can come with political stability in the country which is linked with the free and fair general elections in the country.
He said economic stability could not come through loans from different countries and organizations as it is like the treatment of cancer with a tablet of ‘Disprin.’
Criticizing the rulers' act against his aide, Imran Khan said Shahbaz Gill was being physically and mentally tortured just to get a statement against him.
Imran claimed that the interrogators are trying to collect information about his meals from Shahbaz Gill to give him poison through food as four witnesses of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s money laundering case have already died in the same way.
He said the rulers had information about the diet of these all witnesses so it was easy to give them poison and now they are trying to get information about his diet to do so.
He said just one saying of Shahbaz Gill against the institution was not the issue because Nawaz Sharif, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Maryam Nawaz, Ayaz Sadiq, Khawaja Asif and others have already given such kind of anti-army statements in the recent past but the actual issue is to get information about Imran Khan's meal.
He said everyone was aware of the foreign conspiracy of regime change when US Under Secretary Donald Lu was holding meetings with different Pakistani personalities. He said despite knowing everything, why do neutrals allow the conspiracy to fulfil?
Calling the neutrals, Imran Khan also announced that he will not accept the sitting rulers who are thieves. He said he will like to die but will not pass his life under these rulers.
He criticized rulers for banning a private channel and programs of some patriotic journalists like Imran Riaz Khan, Sami Ibrahim and Arshad Sharif.
Imran Khan said the rulers are trying to create fear among the PTI leaders to break the party.
