The younger brother of a PML-N MNA remained unscathed on Sunday when some dacoits opened fire on his vehicle when he did not stop his car on their signal in Pakpattan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to details, Moazzam Maneka, the younger brother of a PML-N’s MNA, was travelling somewhere from his village Pir Ghani in his car. Some bandits hidden in the nearby fields emerged and signalled him to pull over but Maneka ignored them and continued driving.

On this, the dacoits opened fire at his car. Fortunately, he remained unhurt and the robbers fled away.

Following the incident, the local people made an announcement on the loudspeaker of the mosque. After that, the villagers assembled and started chasing the dacoits in the fields.

Finally, they were able to capture the bandits who were hiding in the maize crop near Sutlej River. They beat them black and blue.

Later, the locals handed over the robbers to the police.
