CM Punjab declares stringent crackdown on encroachments in Lahore starting Tuesday

In a decisive move, Punjab Chief Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi has issued a directive to initiate a rigorous crackdown against encroachments in Lahore, slated to commence on Tuesday, December 19, 2023.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, CM Naqvi has sternly cautioned the public to voluntarily cease encroachments by Monday, December 18, as the anti-encroachment drive is set to kick off on Tuesday morning.
The Chief Minister has also mandated the arrest of individuals who fail to comply with the directive, with cases to be registered against them.
CM Syed Mohsin Naqvi has instructed Assistant Commissioners and Police officers to make necessary preparations for operations in their respective areas.
