Robbers kill rickshaw driver in Jhang

A rickshaw driver was shot dead when he put up resistance during a robbery in Jhang on Saturday night.

Police say the incident occurred in Jhang’s Shortkot area. The victim was identified as Mazhar.

He put up resistance during the robbery and the robbers gunned him down. They then took away his phone, cash in his pocket and his rickshaw.

Jhang DPO Sarfraz Virk said a police team was searching for the robbers who were believed to be from Khanewal and had three other cases registered against them at various police stations.
