Sindh Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mushtaq Mahar has been removed from the office, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
According to a notification issued in this regard, Mushtaq Mahar has been directed to report to the establishment division.
Kamran Fazal of Sindh police has been appointed as the acting IGP.
It is to be noted here that acting Sindh IGP Kamran Fazal will retire in two months.
