Ombudsman reviews performance of institutions taking care of child rights

A workshop was held at the Punjab Club in Lahore under the aegis of the Federal Ombudsman’s Secretariat, Islamabad, on Wednesday.
Federal Ombudsman Syed Tahir Shahbaz, Provincial Ombudsman Major (Retired) Azam Suleman Khan, Punjab Minister for Women’s Development Ashifa Riaz, Ijaz Qureshi, Abdul Hameed Razi, Nadeem Ashraf and Syeda Waqar-ul-Nisa Hashmi attended the workshop.
On this occasion, performance of various institutions vis-à-vis children’s rights was reviewed and the future line of action was discussed.
