According to the 24News HD TV channel, the IG Sindh Police office has sent a secret letter about the threat to the DIG Hyderabad and SSP Jamshoro.
It is stated in the letter that there is fear of terrorism at the shrine of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar so the security arrangements should be tightened.
The letter said the local police should make security arrangements to prevent any untoward incident as thousands of pilgrims including foreign devotees visit the shrine.
The letter revealed that previously, 111 policemen were posted at the shrine which was reduced to 93 now while out of 100 CCTV cameras, only 23 are working.
