3 thieves injured while stealing electric wire from Guddu power station

Three persons were seriously injured after a fire erupted in a high transmission line at Guddu Thermal power station in Kashmore right at a time when they were busy stealing an electricity cable from there, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

Sources in the WAPDA told 24News TV channel that the thieves were trying to steal an electric wire of 11,000 KV when the wire caught fire, injuring them seriously.

The police shifted the injured to a taluqa hospital where the MS said that 80 per cent of their bodies had been completely burnt.
