The Punjab cabinet decided to appoint commissioners in every department of the province to redress the complaints of the citizens.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, this decision was taken by the provincial cabinet in its 30th meeting presided by Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi in Faisalabad on Tuesday.
As per the decisions, the departmental commissioners will take steps for the redressal of the complaints of the citizens on an immediate basis.
The Punjab Cabinet has approved extending the scope of the Walled City of Lahore Authority to the entire province for the restoration and renovation of historic and ancient buildings not only in Lahore but also in the entire province.
Punjab cabinet also approved the agreement to declare Bukhara and Lahore as twin cities of Uzbekistan.
The Punjab Cabinet has approved the increase in the salary of the Chowkidar to make the Chowkidara System more effective in the villages.
Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) and Punjab Agriculture Market Regulatory Authority (AMRA) will establish multiple vegetable and fruit markets. The cabinet approved the agreement between RUDA and the AMRA.
The provincial cabinet approved the establishment of a commission under the Punjab Charity Act 2018.
The Punjab cabinet also approved amendments to the Punjab Motor Vehicles Rules 1969 and Punjab Procurement Rules 2014.
The cabinet also approved the establishment of a special committee for the formulation of a policy on government land and amendments.
The cabinet also approved the amendment in Rules 2014 for the post of Director General (DG) of the Forensic Science Agency (FSA) and the amendment of Punjab Police Rules 2016.
