Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Chief Organizer Maryam Nawaz Sharif met representatives of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday.

She shed light on her father Nawaz Sharif’s vision to put the national economy back on track and listed her party feats in the past.

The arrival of Nawaz Sharif will be the revival of business activities, Maryam maintained.

Nawaz Sharif's agenda is to get rid of the debt-driven economy and provide relief to the inflation-hit people, she said, adding that the Nawaz League follows the policies for progress and prosperity.

Ex-PM Nawaz Sharif brought reforms to the county, she said, adding that institutions will be rebuilt, businesspersons’ concerns will be addressed by putting an end to the NAB's vendetta while bureaucracy and the FBR will be reformed.

People gave Nawaz the mandate of premiership thrice and he gave them a better economy, welfare and betterment too, she said, adding he will create an atmosphere conducive to run business.

The PML-N chief organizer said neighbouring countries replicated economic reforms introduced by Nawaz Sharif and made progress. The Nawaz Sharif regime purged out terrorism and restored peace,

When he took over in 2013, terrorism plagued the country, business activities were stopped and employment was on the rise, Maryam stressed, adding that Nawaz Sharif brought in the CPEC.

She said agricultural devilment and farmer’s welfare took place during Nawaz Sharif's tenure and he introduced special packages for farmers and to agricultural development.

The Nawaz Sharif-led government got over the energy crisis and he is firm to continue his agenda for national progress and prosperity.

In 2016, Nawaz Sharif's government said goodbye to the IMF. She said macroeconomic reforms are on the cards, exports will be enhanced.

She slammed the PTI rule, saying that the foundations of the country were shaken from 2018 to 2022.

She also listed the PDM government’s feats, saying the national government saved including saving the state from bankruptcy in its 16-month rule. She said the party has specifics to fix the problems plaguing Pakistan.  Youth will be provided with opportunities and women will be empowered, Maryam maintained.
