Sikhs’ spiritual leader Baba Guru Nanak’s three days long Joti Jot celebrations would be started from September 20 in Kartarpur.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, preparations for Baba Guru Nanak's three-day Urs (Joti Jot) were completed at Kartarpur in the district Narowal.

Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee member Inder Jeet Singh said that the festivities would begin on September 20 with Sikhs and pilgrims from around the world taking part in it.

Inder said that Sikh pilgrims from all over the world come to Narowal for the 3-day Urs celebrations and all of them would follow the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Pertinent to mention here that the Joti Jot is a holy teaching word that means an immortal person couldn’t die and just rejoins with God.
