LHC issues show-cause notice to FIA DG in model Sofia case

Lahore High Court on Saturday issued show-cause notices to the Federal Investigative Agency (FIA) director general and others over contempt of court in model Sofia daughters’ custody case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

Justice Shujaat Ali Khan issued notices to DG FIA for not implementing the court orders.

Model Sofia has filed a case against her Dubai-based husband Umar Farooq over his red warrants.

Actress Sofia Mirza claimed that her daughters were smuggled abroad via ‘human trafficking. 

She also alleged that her former husband was also involved in the kidnapping of her kids, taking both daughters out of the country under the pretext of a meeting.
