Gold prices in Pakistan experienced a slight decrease on Monday, aligning with trends in the international market, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The price of gold per tola in the local market fell by Rs200, bringing it down to Rs260,000. This decline was confirmed by the rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold also witnessed a reduction, decreasing by Rs172 to settle at Rs222,908.

This decrease follows a notable rise on Saturday, when gold prices surged by Rs2,500, reaching Rs260,200 per tola.

In contrast to the local trend, the international gold market saw an uptick, with prices increasing by $5, bringing the rate to $2,502 per ounce.

Despite this global increase, the local market in Pakistan responded with a marginal decrease.

Meanwhile, silver prices remained stable in the local market.

The price per tola of silver stayed unchanged at Rs2,950, maintaining its previous levels.
