Six children drown as boat capsized in Kalankar Lake

At least 6 children have died after a boat carrying family members capsized in a lake situated in the Umerkot district, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.
According to the sources, some people along with their family members came to visit the Kalankar Lake located near Dhoronaro village of Umerkot. Their boat overturned when they were going around in the boat. The bodies of three innocent children have been removed from the lake while the search for the rest is continued.
The sources said that the boat was overturned due to overloading.
Among the deceased, two children were identified as Parvez Samiju and Akram Nahri.
