Nab chairman challenges PAC meeting minutes in IHC 

Acting Chairman of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has challenged the meeting minutes of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) in Islamabad High Court (LHC), reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

He made Secretary Parliamentary Affairs, Secretary National Assembly, Chairman Public Accounts Committee, Deputy Director Public Accounts Committee, and Additional Secretary Public Accounts Committee parties to the petition

“On 24 June 2022, the PAC exceeded its jurisdiction. And IHC may declare the proceedings of the minutes of the meeting of July 7, 2022 null and void,” the petitioner pleaded.

“The Court may restrain the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) from taking any action under its constitutional jurisdiction,” the petition reads.
