Pakistan bowling coach Shaun Tait said there would be a great cricketing calendar for Pakistan in the next 12 months and he would certainly work with players to take the pressure off of fast bowlers. Shaun Tait held an online press conference Saturday.

Tait rebuffed the impression that reverse swing had played a lot of role in the both test matches and commented that Pakistani bowlers performed well.

The new bowling coach said that he had talked with bowlers about how their bodies have been going after tough test matches.

He said he would be telling fast bowlers including Shaheen Shah Afridi to keep their bodies up and fresh.

“If Shaheen is close to 100 percent fit then he is probably as close to the most dangerous bowler in the world right now,” he commented.

Pakistan and Australia will play the third and final Benaud-Qadir Trophy, ICC World Test Championship match on March 21 at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

Australia vice-captain Steve Smith also held a virtual press talk and praised Pakistani skipper Babar Azam. He said that Babar Azam played an exceptional innings in the Karachi Test and made many records in the Karachi Test and was undoubtedly included in the top five batters of the world.

He said, "Australians like playing test matches in challenging conditions. I'm not expecting a bouncy track at Gaddafi Stadium for the Lahore Test. The pitch for the Lahore Test is expected to be similar to Rawalpindi and Karachi Tests.”

Pakistan has begun Lahore Test preparations at the Qaddafi Stadium.
