Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan has said cases will be registered against the people involved in raiding his Zaman Park residence and killing a PTI worker, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing the people through a video link, Imran Khan accused the government of trying to get him out of the way to contest the elections. They had the plan to kill me or arrest me during his visit to Islamabad to appear before the court day before yesterday,” he said adding that they have the plan to arrest him and shift him to Balochistan.
The former prime minister said that the incumbent government is utilizing all tactics to postpone the elections.
“The government and its backers are scared of elections because so far in the last eight months, out of the 37 byelections, my party has won 30 out of them,” added Imran Khan.
He said that at least 96 cases have been registered against him by the “imported government.” These cases are registered under terrorism, blasphemy, vandalism, theft, and killing charges. “Whenever I try to go out of my house, a new was registered against me, he added.
He said that the police plundered and looted my house in his absence. “Is this the job of the police to loot the valuables of a family?”
