PTI seeks permission for public rallies in Islamabad

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has sought permission for public gatherings in Islamabad on March 23, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
In a letter submitted to Islamabad Magistrate/Deputy Commissioner office again, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Islamabad President Amir Masood Mughal has sought permission for holding public gatherings in Islamabad on Pakistan Day.
In his plea, he submitted that this is in continuation of his earlier letter dated March 15, 2024 through which — he had requested for grant of permission to hold a peaceful public gathering in Islamabad.
“It appears that the application has not been attended as yet, as no response has been given till now and it is therefore, requested to kindly expedite the matter at your end.”
PTI Islamabad president added that it is once again requested to kindly allow PTI to exercise its constitutional right of holding peaceful public gathering in Islamabad on March 23.
He also assured that the PTI, its workers and all the participants remain peaceful and the parry will make sure that the participants adhere to the instructions and code of conduct issued by DC office for the peaceful holding of the event.
